About Lanron Inspections

Home Inspectors in Lacombe County, Alberta

Being in the Home Inspection business since 2007 and completing almost 6000 inspections we use that experience to look at every Home Inspection as an opportunity to inform the client about every aspect of the home and property. Our Home Inspectors at Lanron Inspections encourage the client to attend the Home Inspection from start to finish thus allowing opportunities to explain defects in the home, point out materials used that are of lower quality, provide maintenance and upkeep tips for the home, and answer any questions.

Pre-purchase home inspections are the majority of the Home Inspections performed, but we also perform many inspections on new homes that are a few months away from the 1-year New Home Warranty expiring. Home Inspectors at Lanron Inspections provide a complete list of defects in the report for the home builder to repair. During these Home Inspections, we have found defects such as structural issues that can cause major issues in the future, many leaking plumbing fixtures (especially those that are rarely used) and electrical issues (for example, incorrectly wired receptacles, poorly wired electrical panels and other bad wiring practices).

Our Home Inspectors are passionate about the future of the Home Inspection industry and our association. Ron McDougall is now Vice President and one of the founding members of APHIS (Alberta Professional Home Inspector Society) formerly known as CAHPI Alberta. Has trained many up and coming Home Inspectors and been an examiner for MIPR's (Mock Inspection Peer Review)
